Is rockbox for the H10 user ready?

I am an old hand with rockbox, been using it on my H10 for about a two years now, but my Girlfreind owns a H10 and I want to get her to start to use rockbox. Is it user ready yet? She would not be to tech savy, she knows a bit, what she needs to, but she's no geek like me. would she be able to get by?

just another few questions, is it file system based and does it bypass the WMP upload requirment (play for sure), if so is it database or file system based? I assume that all functions are not yet implemented, so which are not, ie FM, recording, picture viewer etc. Also did I read correctly, will the H10 now play vids?

You can bypass WMP and boot it in UMS mode, either by plugging it in and turning it on while holding O, or holding down O when connecting it to the computer.

Rockbox does not require WMP at all.

I meant that using the normal firmware, you are "supposed" to use WMP, which can be gotten around when installing Rockbox. Sorry if I was unclear.

Fantasitico. And one last one, can you boot to iRiver still, I would assume that it is still the hold record and then on.

You cant succesfully boot to iriver firmware, yet. It doesn't get past the System Initializing screen, or something like that.

You have to rename the firmware manually on a computer.
