For 4:3 video, the height must be 3/4 of the width. For a 5Gb H10, it needs to be 128*96, for 20Gb, it needs to be 160*120 For 16:9 video, the height must be 9/16 of the width. For a 5Gb H10, it needs to be 128*72, for 20Gb, it needs to be 160*90. I might add links to modified batch files later. I hope that helps, set the dimensions by editing the batch file in Notapad. It works really well, but i hope sound comes soon, because i don't have subtitles for a lot of my videos, and a lot of 'em are music vids.

i just encoded a video using WinAVI and made it a standard MPEG file and it ran using mpegplayer.
EDIT: Looks ok Running B/W Cartoons, but when playing Red vs Blue it had alot of random coloured blocks on the bottom of the screen. EDIT2: Really im just dropping random MPEG vids into it and there running, no conversion.

The problem with mpeg files is that it's expecting only a video stream and they have an audio stream as well, so of course if there's extra data that it doesn't know how to handle yet, it's gonna be glitchy.

i got it going smooth with standard MPEG1 video, no corruption. i just resized the video to fit the screen and made it decent quality, about 2.5 meg a min. So no need to covert it to M2V for me!

I don't understand what the problem with VLC and the .bat file is. I got a perfectly converted video on my first try, you just have to use common sense and understand how the transcoding works. It's really hard to edit code if you don't know how it works.

VLC seems to work like a charm lately... it's just drag and drop onto the .bat file!... only problem is i noticed that there is no sound on the file itself!... (like when i watch it on the computer) anyone know how do get sound... so i don't have to recode WHEN sound does work?
