I'd also suggest turning off the equalizer. That sometimes slows things down.

rockbox
okheres the deal im a computer person i build and reair them for a living i have a h10 5 gig firmware 2.10 or whatever the new one is i keep on getting system files missing on it once it starts up and i prety much put all the files in every possable order to get this thing running im about to give up on this shit so could you please help me out

Could it be that you are still using the Iriver's boot loader and not the rockbox one to boot into rockbox? Correct me if I'm wrong, You have to go into the system folder and rename the iriver's bootloader to original.mi4 (i think thats what its meant to be named) which is about 3MB in size and then add the rockbox bootloader which from memory is called h10.mi4 and is only about 50KB in size.
Hope this helped, I don't have my iriver with me so i cant tell you the correct names. |
