Problem with H10

Hi,
I just installed the rockbox, everything's seems to work well except that when I run the playlist that I created, it always plays the same song over and over again although I have listed some other songs there.
Fwrd button doesn't get me to the next track instead it replay the current song. But the fast forward in track does work tho.
My player is H10 20gb US version.
before, thanks a lot for the help.

Sounds like you might have inadvertently set rockbox to be in A-B repeat mode or something. If you press and hold 'left' for about a second, you'll be taken to the quickmenu where you can adjust play modes (shuffle, etc. with REW and repeat modes with FFWD)

One click on left to exit the quickmenu and go back to where you left from.

If that doesn't do it, come back with more info.

It's kinda nice for the 20gb, the screens bigger. I wouldn't watch a movie on it though...

Either this needs updating, or PaulPosition's thread needs a sticky, or both.

Maybe ItsMeGuys wants to integrate the last part of my tutorial with his, and then we could let it (mine) die a deserved death. (I do think ItsMeGuys writes, and forum-izes) great tutorials!)

Alternatively, I can re-write one that only focus on the 'preparing for dual boot' and the 'fixing that sync issue between old<->new combos of bootloader+rockbox install' ?? That would make more sense than an installation tutorial that refers to an other installation tutorial, no?

i upload music like i usually do with the orignal firmware. and then for the music to show up on rockbox i have to go unhide the music folder?

also i have a question

if so, how do i upload/view them?

Why Thank You. But, I think we can leave your thread as it is, and I can just link to it. At least, for now

As to Bangisnotxcore, yes, you can upload music normally, or just drag and drop. Rockbox uses filetree navigation (is that what its called?), so wherevever you put your music, you just browse there.

As for photos, yes, just drag and drop your photos into any folder, or even create a folder!

Might sound stupid, but do you have the hold switch on?

Also (unless I haven't been keeping up to date ) the scrollpad doesn't yet work as a scrolly thing, you have to tap/hold the top or bottom (no stroking ).

I've got the hold switch off, what's more - it seems to be working during the boot, because I can do this "cleared" thingy, but then nothing works.. =(( and also the dualboot doesn't work, but well, I won't need it if I don't make Rockbox work.. =)

just noticed: the hold switch seems to be working because I occasionally manage to get a "hold" icon on the status bar, but by pressing hold and some other keys simusltaneously... sometimes it works.. =)

pinta_vodki: Have you gone to this thread and followed the instructions? Click Here

In order to have rockbox work and have the dual bootloader working, you must follow all of those steps carefully. If you have already done that, try deleting those certain files and do it over again. Good luck.
