Latest Nano build - some questions
I may be interested in a RB nano if I got one, however I have some questions.
1. Does RB use a clock on the nano, and can this be disabled to stop any power drain over time as happens in the H300 (or is the ipods way more efficient...)? 2. On ipod platforms does RB employ a true power off, or merely go into an ipod-like hibernation still drawing power? 3. Does the scroll wheel also get used in a joystick like way as well like the H300 or is it scrolling round and round mainly with centre button for select? 4. Is there currently any power/battery issues concerning the latest build? Thanks.

Short answer as far as I know.
1. Rockbox uses a clock on the Nano. It has sleep timer for instance. 2. It has a true power off. It takes more time to restart it obviously. 3. No. And I hate the scroll wheel. I wish they changed that. 4. I don't know. I am using julius/senab build. And I have just adapted a fantastic wps with cover art. More news about it tomorrow, probably.
