So how does the iRiver firmware work again? ;^)

Recently I had occasion to use the original iRiver firmware for the iHP-1xx players, something I haven't done for a year, now.

I'm embarrassed to say, I've forgotten how it works ...



And talk about real estate waste and a slow-moving scroll. Makes Rockbox looks like it's on steroids.

I've almost forgotten who Iriver are, as far as I'm concerned this H340 is a rockbox player

I couldn't have said it any better myself. Had to use it to playback some WMA speech files **shudders** and it was slower and less responsive than I remember. I guess Rockbox just spoils you.

Yes, there is. It is what you started with before Rockbox came along.

Well I got my H340 and less than 3 hours after the box was opened and the player was charged, it had rockbox installed and running .... so I say what Iriver firmware?
