Fortune for Rockbox?
Does anyone with programming knowhow know whether it would be possible to port fortune to Rockbox?

This is a site which offers to let people download a version of fortune which is supposed to have no platform-specific code, so could a plugin be made from it?

Hi, I'm not familiar with Fortune, however it looks like it just... displays fortune cookies?

That should be easy to port, or even to be written from scratch. I haven't written anything for Rockbox yet, but I might look into this as a basic starting project!

Yeah, it just displays funny quotes and things like that. It picks one at random and then displays it.

It should be made w/ an external cfg file or something, so it's easy to add your own quotes and stuff.
