omg, you also gave me a fright.....

(ps I have a (buggy but) working version of the wiktionary on my h120 in the plugin! still work to be done on the plugin and convertor but not long now hopefully..)

Lol, because I hadn't been in a conference call I assumed that you were addressing me here. ie telling me that you and hellworm had decided to cease development.

And to make my day really sad, my h120 has stopped working (ATA error -32 which apparently means I have to resolder stuff (and i'm no dab hand at that)) so work on the plugin may stop until i get it fixed or replace it.

There is *active* development going on, however it is a bit stalled as Connells DAP is out of commision and Hellworm is a bit busy with RL (real-life)

Update: memory management of the converter is finally that good, that I can convert the whole wikipedia within normal RAM limits (it took around 40 minutes). I did not want to publish this because there's still a bug, so the index is nor completely correct. However progress is made and development is continuing (although veeeery slowly).

hi.
I don't want to ask when the wiki plugin gets finished but where to download the files of wikipedia? Because I think it's more than just a few MB I want to start downloading now... Not just for the plugin. Also for myself...

I think that the plan was that a few people would download and convert the entire Wikipedia, and then re-host it on bittorrent.

Bit torrent itself IS NOT illegal just the stuff that is up/down loaded with it.
Take a look at the dime-a-dozen site. They only allow legally distributable music (i.e. gigs by groups that allow this) as long as it isn't already commercially available.

That's great but that would be the english version I think. I prefer the german version because I understand english well but... The german vrsion would be better for me Just because of I AM german
So if one of you plan to re-host the german version - great. But if not it would be cool if somebody could explain to me how to download it for myself.
