Questions regarding the favorites plug-in

I'm using the "favorites" plug-in heavily. Problem is that sometimes is hard to access this plug-in having to navigate through all menus and scrolling up or down to that option. Is there a way to access the favorite plug-in directly? If it can be done pressing a single button it will be great but a button combo will be acceptable as well.

Shebbs "Add To Playlist" patch performs a similar function in an improved way. You can add a number of playlists (favourites being one) to a catalog then add a currently playing track (or any file from the browser) to any playlist in the catalog.
