I LOVE THIS GAME! Great port; very stylish. Thanks for all the work you've put in.

Have you thought about that invitation into the Plugbox group? You seem very talented and could help out hugely.

Well, no offense to any of the plugbox guys, but I'd prefer to keep the plugin hosted on my personal webspace where I have complete control of it while I'm still developing it. I'll hopefully commit it to cvs in the not too distant future, but probably not until after linuxstb's bmp2rb compile-time integration idea (or something similar) is put in place so I don't have to have 500KB of bitmap arrays in the source code.

Any chance of updating the plugin-header for use with current Rockbox builds? I'd prefer not to use the H300 Optimised build.

The plugin was updated for the new plugin loader a week ago.

I don't know why but I still got the "Incompatible model" message with the latest Rockbox and the latest Bubbles.

I just now overwrote the .rock and .levels file with the same version I already had, and now it's working. Perhaps the time-stamp of the files was involved in the error-message? I can remember having to reset the date and time recently, so if anyone else has the same problem you know where to look.

Same problem with me. Today I dowloaded and updated to the last Rockbox build and last bubbles build and I still get the "incompatible" error message. My DAP is a H1X0.

If you want to keep up to date every time the plugin api version changes, you'll really need to compile the plugin yourself. I'll try to update the .rocks as often as I have time, but there are no guarantees.

RotAtoR, just curious: Why don't you place your game at the Plugbox site so that it will be easier to locate? This is what the other people are doing.

Ideally everything on PlugBox and this would be submitted to the Patches section on the Sourceforge site, to make it even easier for them to be located, and so that maybe some devs will consider incorporating them.

Hehe, glad you like it, perhaps I should come up with a better message at the end. I have a several more changes that I want to make to this plugin and I'll hopefully have some time to make them soon. Recently school work has pretty much precluded me from having any free time for Rockbox related activities.

RotAtoR: You should take a look at the new (week and a half old) LCD drivers... you might be able to make the game run smoother. Paprica did something with BrickMania to make it run better, maybe you can use the same trick?

I already have something to smooth out the game without needing to boost the cpu running on my lcoal copy of the plugin. When ever I find time to implement a few more changes I'll upload the updated version here.

Are you planning on submitting it to the patch tracker in view of having it included in CVS ?

Yes, I plan on committing it to CVS when it's good and ready, I have commit access so there's no need to put it on the patch tracker. One thing I'm waiting for before I can really finish it is transparency masks for greyscale bitmaps.

You were getting the "Incompatible model" error, right? The compiled versions on the first page are quite old, I'll update them.

Edit: Now the versions linked from the first post are compiled for the latest cvs.

I haven't made the graphics yet for the 5G screen size. This will come eventually, right now I have a lot of clean up to do with the graphics code.

Well, boredom set in this evening so I've updated all the graphics. The 5G is now supported, but untested since the 5G simulator doesn't work yet. I'd appreciate it if you'd test it and let me know what graphical bugs there are. One thing, I haven't made boxes for the text yet since I can't see the screen to align them, maybe you could get me screendump so I can fix that.

The updated source code and .rocks are all available on the first post.

I don't know if i posted here but..

This is my favourite plugin for Rockbox. Simply because its so damn close to the original I play on the computer!! Hardly anything is compromised in terms of graphics or gameplay!!

Absolutely flawless app, works with music in the background as well... the PERFECT ROckBox Plugin!!

Keep up the great work!
