Hello everyone. I searched all the rockbox threads both here and on the rockbox forums, and I have yet to find the answer.
So I got the tag database on my h120 which is very cool! Thanks in advance for your help.

This has been a problem for a while, see This Thread. Post 2 by mike offers a possible solution.

What we really need is an engineer on the Rockbox crew who is a db fanatic, to take charge of the db side of Rockbox, fix this bug, and finish developing the db capability, including: add an easy db update feature (right now, AFAIK, you need to totally re-do the db to update which, with 7000 songs, can take awhile); add genre capability to the db; and fully exploit the great possibilities of a db.
I know that not many people focus on the db, but it seems to me that of all the Rockbox capabilities, this is the one that is so incredibly open for development, to such a degree that even file-tree devotees would find the db of interest. |
