Hi,
I think this is an easy enough request to add to the rockbox glory, just wondering could we have a quick menu button for Crossfade option.

At the moment it's

< shuffle: on/off
> repeat: all/one/shuffle
down - Show Files supported/all/music/playlists/id3

any chance of having

< shuffle: on/off
> repeat: all/one/shuffle
down - Show Files supported/all/music/playlists/id3
^ crossfade - off/mix/crossfade

It would be very handy because I always have crossfade on but for the likes of a live album or continuous dance album or even when looking for a track you don't know the name of and when your skipping between each song, it takes a good while to hear what the next track is because crossfade is on.

Maybe other people would put another function in the ^ option on the quick menu but any chance you could slip crossfade in for now please

I agree - this would be a very useful feature.
Possibly even make this quick menu customizable for each user

I've suggested in the past that the fourth quick menu selection should be mapped to "browse .cfg files." That would allow just about any setting to be selected quickly and easily.

that's not a bad idea either but I'd prefer to see repeat replaced rather than crossfade. With 20/40gb of music, who ever repeats anyway?

User definable features (place any settings from Rockbox) for the four way quick selection screen would be even better!

It could be easy to configure with a text file. The hardest bit would be writing shortcuts to every function people would want to use.

How about a feature like the one in the iriver firmware that allows you to double click forward or backward to go to the next directory. Or is it there and I just haven't figured it out yet...?
