Well, not us, I've just beneifted from the genius of others, but I have noticed in the last few weeks that this forum has almost died. Does this mean that we are almost there with RB?

Definately moving in the right direction, but not there yet. The main issues to resolve before an official release are Remote support (currently being worked on by TiMiD, but he's currently stalled because he's awaiting some feedback from some very busy Dev's, hopefully shouldn't be too much longer ) and recording (not sure if anyone is working on that atm).
