CLock?
I was just wondering if a clock could in fact work. What does a clock need? Am I right in thinking that your processor should count the system clock pulses and a small amount of memory would be needed to hold the data?
Well, what I am thinking is that rather then absolute shutdown, would it be posible to create a standby state, where the minimmum amount of power is used to power the battery. Ok, the odd time you will run the battery down, but if you could make a standby state that could last days, this would be a rare event. |
