Playlists
Is there anyway we could have all playlists saved into a Playlist directory? I moved one of the playlist into a directory, and then it didn't work. So i'm guessing it uses the filename for a song in reference to where the playlist is.

So, I was just wondering if i could change where the playlists are being saved to? Would it be possible to maybe create an option for this?

Anyone else think this would be useful?

Don't all playlists just get generated in the root folder at the moment? Maybe not ideal, yeah. I've got to say I've not tried the OTF playlists that much yet, but a seperate folder sounds like a good idea to me.

Figured out how to. Since it's normally being created in the root folder, aka the filepath to name your Playlist when being saved is:

/dynamic.m3u
You can rename it to:

Quote:
/PLAYLISTS/dynamic.m3u
and it'll save into a folder called Playlists, and work accordingly.

you can save playlists to wherever to you want to.
the default path /.rockbox/dynamic.m3u can be changed to /.rockbox/abcdef.m3u The playlist will then appear on your 'root' screen.
You can use the left 'Rec' button to delete characters on the screen whilst creating/saving a playlist in Rockbox.
