Another OTF Playlist question!

Is there anyway of adding a song playing in a playlist to another playlist while it is playing?

Let me explain. I love the random kick on my h140 so i made a playlist of my entire music catalogue so i could listen on shuffle, every now and again a song pops up that i havent heard for ages, or not at all and I think wow I should put that on a playlist for later..trouble is technically its already on a playlist so i cant get the usual 'insert' options.

Is there a sneaky way around this or am i just going to have to get over it.

by the way I am LOVING your Rockbox genius work guys. You are the reason I bought an H140 and am selling my H340.

I don't think there is any way to do that. However it should be fairly easy to write a plugin that appends the currently playing file to a playlist you select with "open with".

edit: I wrote a really simple plugin that just appends the currently playing track filename to a playlist selected in the file browser and opened with the plugin. The patch is here.

You can do a similar thing using the favourites plugin. It appends the filename of the currently playing song to /favorites.m3u Not quite as flexible but at least stores the filename somewhere so you can edit your playlist when you are next at a computer.
