Ressurecting 'The Cat Test' :P

I guess a few people here will recall the infamous (and highly rated, to my suprise) iMP-250 anti-shock test i did during my time on the iRiver IS programme.

Well, if you dont recall it, take a look back.. and here's the goss/rumour...

His 'catness' is seriously thinking of getting a manufacters to loan test items for a repeat session of that test (yep, it's bike rebuild time again).

So, if the manufacturer's have the male soft dangly bits wotsits to risk their precious product reputations vs the nasty 'Cat Test', i'll let you all know.

If anyone has suggestions of devices i might want to include on the test wish-list, feel free to post them as replies..

It's not a CDP exclusive test, as flash/hdd/md decks are all worth testing for the purpose of the road noise defeating part, hdd & md vs shock resistance.

Yes, i've arranged a JB1 loan to use as the 'data logger' again, so as with the original test glitch-free assessment of playback will be reviewed post ride as per the original test.

Maybe i could add a voice recorder to the kit.. and include a voice playback file of my erm 'comments' during the suicide ride..??
