Reigncom/iriver not doing so well

Saw an interesting thing on the dapreview site, that Reigncom/iriver's profits have dropped 84% recently.

I guess their plans are maybe not going so well. Wonder if they'll keep going in the same direction (with H10 type players) or change direction and go back to making more techie players again...

Hopefully they don't end up like Rio and become a casualty of Apple's dominance. Its unfortunate because I bet it's hard to compete right now :/

When I find that I would recommend the video ipods to potential buyers, you know iRiver is not doing well, since they are currently not offering better alternatives. The only real competitor is iAudio's X5 series in my opinion...

if only the capacity were bigger...and iriver nees better marketing...there are NO ads in the US for the most part, lets get some TV and print ads..i did see one in a bus stop in london..in march...made me buy the H10!
