iHP320/iHP340 Prices Announced
Stole this from the IF site, article indicates that the -300 series will go on sale in Europe in April (I win my bet made a month ago) for 449E and 629E, respectively. Looks like Europe is getting all the new iRiver stuff first again! But probably at a much higher price than USA.

That comes out to $517 USD for the ihp-320 and $805 USD for the ihp-340......Europe can have them at that price!!!!

NWITFW would I pay that....you can buy two ihp-140's for the price of one ihp-340's in the States.

But seadzz...it looks like they took your suggestion and you can now have a lava lamp display on that color screen!

Actually I think the iHP-320 price is not too different from the European launch price of the iHP-120.

Any of you Europeans wish to comment? I seem to recall UK buyers talking about paying 350 pounds or more...

But I agree...it is an outrageous price for a player..

But I think the street prices would be far away from that. Considering the price for the new portable media device, the PMP-140, which is announced
for 700 Euro in that webshop I mentioned in another post earlier:

Why should anybody buy the iHP-340 for only 70 Euro less without the capability of playing videos (not that I need that, a notebook is IMHO far better for that).
And if there's no lcd remote for the iHP-340, I'll buy the 140, my ipod is already offered at ebay...

That is a hefty price for them, but then again that'd still make the 320 cheaper than the price that the 120 was at for quite a while. Its quite depressing how often electronics companies use an exchange rate of 1:1 when converting their dollar prices into pounds.
