Suggestions cleared at the iRiver International Site!

It seems that the whole list of user suggestions has been cleared/deleted.

http://www.iriver.com/community/suggestion.asp

Possibly due to the new site?

"iRiver always listen carefully to our customer's suggestions."

...hmmm...I hope so!

Maybe there were just too many for them to handle, and they want a fresh start.

"I cannie dae it Captain, she just won't take any more" (say it in a Mr Scott voice)

Cheers

Well, he could always beam himself down to the iRiver development department, and tell them to get their finger out.

Snotty...er..I mean Scotty was always a bit of a fraud though...He'd always exaggerate about how much was wrong (when there was half of that wrong), or how he'd need like 18 hours to fix the plasma manafolds or something, and when he got it done in half the time, he was praised. He always gave the captain an overestimated amount of time for the jobs he needed to do, so this way he had his ass covered...

As a typical Scotsman, he was probably just gettin pissed while the ship was fallin apart till the last second. Gotta love'm

Maybe they are ready to release a new firmware that fixed each and every suggestion on the forum. No need to keep 'em around after that, is there?

Someone has actually put a good, and as far as I can tell, original idea on the suggestions.

I suggest that all of you at iRiver begin to read the user forum for suggestions on how to improve your products

The concept of "Face" is truely underestimated by non asian people. This problem of loss of face is something that asian people avoid at all costs. By deleting offending or sensitive topics in reality they are sweeping the problem under the carpet.

Out of sight is ...... you get the picture.

If they had deleted the posts and released a 1.21 beta with some of the issues resolved iRiver would have regained some lost fase in my opinion.

not to be...today at least.

Lets give them the benefit of the doubt, they may only have moved them for display on the new forum. Time will tell.

Cheers
