sweet... I think it's everything anyone could expect. And the design - pure beauty itself. It's the proof that not all players have to be soap-like.

I wonder if it is going to support the movies from digital cameras. For example - can you take an SD card directly from the camera, put it into Photo Tank and watch it without being worried about the codecs?

I'm surprised they didn't go touch screen with this one, but glad they didn't in a way. Nothing like good ol' tactile feedback to let a man know he's pressing all the right buttons...
What are the physical specs on this sexy thing, any word ?And please tell me that this isn't just some vapor ware product, and that it WILL hit the Western hemisphere ! ? All I'd need in order to be convinced to buy one is no proprietary software necessary for file transfers (UMS), file tree browsing, gapless playback and traditionally good iRiver sound quality.

It truly is a beautiful looking machine, but, I'm not crazy about the "wheel". If that's the only means of navigating through songs, I can see having some tired fingers. Not to mention that it really sticks out quite a bit, leaving more of a chance for the mechanism to break, especially if the unit is accidentally dropped.
Aside from that, it's so strange and interesting that they chose to model their newest DAP after what looks like a point and shoot camera ! I'm surprised that it doesn't actually incorporate one for that matter too. I see that it even reads RAW photo formats, which is very cool. On another note, considering that this is the iRiver "international" site, and the chosen language to communicate is English, I think it might have been a good idea for them to get somebody with a command of the English language to proof read a bit... Just sayin' is all. But hey, I think I just may be ready to get my hands on one and "have a super tacky experience" !

Wow...this P20 looks really spiffy. Any informaiton about line-in recording capability? Would love to hear from others about the audio quality of this playa. And what's with the name, photo-tank. Is it supposed to be like a fish tank, a marching army tank, or a PR disaster now all tanked?

But there is a lot of that here. You have a country that was a pile of rubble 50 years ago, now with the 31st highest GDP per person. There is a serious push to get everybody to learn English. There are more than 10,000 people like me teaching them. But it will take time.... and fluency is a difficult thing to achieve. a
