We would like to welcome you back to the new MisticRiver!

Please login and take a look around. We've completely reworked the site using a new portal software and best of all, the finest forum software on the internet, vBulletin!

To get yourself going after you've logged in, click on the "UserCP" button in the top navigation bar or to your left. This will take you to the User Control Panel where you will be able to setup all your options for the new site. You can upload/edit avatars, create/edit signatures, enable a WYSIWYG editor for forum posts, enable/disable images, private messaging, etc....

If you have any questions about the many new features, please stop by the MisticRiver Website Forum and post your question. We'll do our best to respond quickly and accurately and as with anything new, please have patience as we iron out the wrinkles.

The Globe is spinning now - and now its spinning the right way (right to left)!
The H3xx has disappeared; personally I think the headphones should link to a LCD remote (or a close up of an iRiver DAP's LCD), and the remote could have current news / info in it...

We're definitely not finished with the re-design of the site or the logo. I've had several ideas similar to yours for a while now, but haven't had the time to communicate with my_iriver. Time zones are a bitch ! Cool idea by the way, my first idea was to have the headphones on the left, and the mistic text on the right with the headphones connecting the two. There are tons of thigs which could spawn from that basic premise, so keep the ideas flowing folks !

As an extension of the previous idea, how about the headphone cable leading to the relevant product for each forum - probably going a bit too far, but would be cool.

It would work for stuff like software and misc too - just need to come up with a decent icon for these sorts of things.

I know its 6am on the morning here (UK) but does the background colour have to keep changing??? And the menu?

(BTW, I **HATE** web pages with a white background. Gives me eyestrain )

Well for now as we have not decided on a permanent color scheme/style for the site... it'll grow on you
