These are all MS certified refurbs in "factory fresh retail packaging," for w/e that means....

Tempting...y'know--jus' fer fun.....

I do love the fact MS is offering FW for the older models to offer better functionality and features, unlike (cr)Apple, who generally "makes" users buy new hardware every other year....

For $100, given that they're gonna get almost all the features of the Zune2 in a firmware update, I'd be very tempted.

I know...I'm thinkin' that my 'pod cost all of $6.91 USD (), so why not take a flier on what many regard as an excellent DAP with a clunky UI--which will now be much slicker w/ the new downloads....

Just ordered a "Woot" Zune 30... with the firmware update it will be a nice bang around unit for a "benji" and an even better deal considering it's an MS refurb with new retail packaging and accessories.

Problem is, the deals are almost never worth it.
Take the X-Box bundle, no-one in the states would pay $450 for it.

Also, with regards to eXpansys, they're a proper retailer and any deals they offer are probably just due to over-stocking or other such matters - they're far more like Amazon in offering discounts than they are like Woot.
