zune in canada?

does anyone kno when zune will be released in canada? i cant seem to find one in stores

At the end of the day, it comes down to whether you'd prefer a games console or a DAP, so which one do you want?

The Wii is a great console. I bought it on launchday after a 16 hour campout. Which was awesome by the way.

Honestly. I would wait about 8 months to get a Wii. By then some more heavy hitters will be out, (I mean gamewise), also, they will have the color black and red out. Or at least thats whats rumored.

If you have to choose between one of them now, I would say Wii. That is ONLY because a new and improved version of the Zune is coming out within the next 6-12 months. And it will fix a lot of the problems with the original Zune.

Oh, and by the way, I haven't seen a Zune in Canada either.

My gf has had hers for a month now and had no problems, its a great little player. As mentioned the battery life is my only issue with it (10-12 hours) but she recharges empty to full in just over 2 hours and thats via usb.

The Zune is a nice unit, but throwing a Wii into the equation makes no sense at all.

Saints showed you that Zunes were becoming available in Canada, then you ask if you should get a Wii instead?

First off, the wireless transfer thing is a beotch. They should have just left it out if they were going to cripple it so much. It had a lot of potential, but Microsoft decided to be an ass and disable all of the cool features it could have had.

The software is stupid. Instead of using Windows Media Player 11, you have to use the stupid Zune specific software. This is dumb considering they put so much effort into making Media Player look so good.

Also, unlike most MP3 players, it can't be used as a HDD, what the heck is up with that?

Plus Zune isn't compatible with the 'Play for Sure' music service, the one that Microsoft has been pushing on everyone for the past few years.

The zune is an awesome first up effort, when you compare it to the 1stgen ipod.
Everyone dumps on the software, its so simple to use, its as quick to sync your songs on as drag and drop, there is a patch that it can be used as a hard drive, I dont care about play for sure, i buy cds and rip them.
