Question Why won't the radio work?

The radio on my x20 has suddenly and without explanation stopped playing out of the headphones. I don't mean I'm just getting static, I mean there is absolutely no sound whatsoever. It plays fine through the speaker using headphones in the line-in as an aerial (I found this out by accident), but nothing through the headphones.

Has anyone else had this problem and/or knows what to do to fix it?

I've had it for six months now, so not that long. The thing I don't understand is that everything else works fine.
