X20 charging
My dad wont let me leave the computer on for a long time so i charge my x20 in my 360. The thing is that even if i leave it over night to charge it never indicates that it has finished.
is that normal for the x20 ? Thanks in advance Justin |

Here's a little hint: Use Motorola V3 chargers... i tried it, doesn't always show full either but i realised that i can watch three-four hours of movie and still have a little spare left for 1h of music. The characteristics are the same if you compare the V3 charger with the X20's battery so don't be afraid to use them as AC Adapter for the X20. I use one for over o month and doesn't seem to have any negative effects. I mean, even here in Romania, V3 chargers are extremely easy to find

Yup. Or that kind of shaped charger which includes the Motorola Vx series, Motorola Lx series, Motorola V3xx series and some of the Motorola V6xx series.
Their charging stats are similar to that of the X20, so they're ok.

I know this thread is quite old, but what surprised me today is that my X20 will actually run off my Palm USB charger without any battery inserted into the X20! So this efectively means one can power the X20 off the mains as if it had an A/C adapter connector. No batteries required.

I bought a simple mains power to usb adapter off amazon when I bought my x20 so that I can charge it without a computer. It cost 1p (2c) ! When you plug the x20 into it, the x20 complains that it can't connect to the computer but will start charging anyway. I haven't used it to do a full charge yet but I presume it works !
