Transfer Media to Micro SD Card
hello, I am a newbie to this site but just picked up the x20 and love it (kind of like a mini version of my Archos Av500). Just a question, I just received a 2gb micro sd card and I can't figure how to transfer media such as music and video to the card. The card shows up when I browse the system but it doesn't list any files and I can't see anyway to transfer files within the x20. I hooked up to my PC and the x20 shows up as a removable drive but there is no separation for the internal vs the micro sd card. I thought files would flow over when the internal memory is maxed but when I tried to add another file I got a message that the destination drive is full. I can't see an option in Iriver plus 3 to transfer media to the sd card. I'm sure it is simple but can't figure it out. Thanks.

Then you didn't stick it in properly. The X20 does both Removable disk and internal memory as separate entities on My Computer whilst in MSC and as a sub-device in MTP.
If not, then ask for a refund or new unit. Yours may be faulty.

Thanks for the info. I reseated the Micro SD card and then tried My Computer on my desktop that uses Windows XP. This time it did come up as separate drives one for the internal and one for external. Just for the record when I tried again on my laptop that uses Windows 2000 it still comes up as only one drive. Anyway I was able to transfer files to the SD card and so I am happy.
