Hi All....just wondering if anyone knows when or even if some accessories are going to be available for the X20??
Am specifically after case/armband to protect the screen and finish....currently using an old small camera case, works but not ideal....8-[ ......a silicon skin type of thing would be good as well.......

Might sound strange, but i use a Nokia CP-109 B (beige) bag. Might be a bit girlish but it's the best protection i could find... Besides, i like the design

Thanks....thought it was just my search skills lacking in not being able to find anything genuine. Will probably go out on the weekend and just shop around by trial and error....should be interesting. Will also keep looking for the real deal.....when ever that will be.
Thanks for the replies.

I don't know. I doubt anyone will release a case for the X20. Why?
Well, first of all, isn't the X20 only officially available in Japan? That limits which manufacturers will venture into the world of cases for the X20. Secondly, everyone, Japan and the US both, are being marketed the Clix2 and everyone loves it. So why would any manufacturer make a case for a player that no one except a few Japanese have? I wish that they would make a nice leather one like the one I received, stock, with my iHP-120 -- but I doubt there will be any cases made for the X20 =\. |

Here are a couple of the links that a Google search turned up:
Gomadic I-nique There's also a link in Step's post a little way up the page.

Unfortunately those cases are all not X20 cases - they are made for different players.
http://www.gomadic.com/brand-iriver-...cessories.html This one happens to be a case for who knows what that will fit the X20. http://www.i-nique.com/store.asp/c=110 This one is definitely for another player, again, it just happens to fit the X20. You can tell because it's impossible to operate the player while it's in the armband. http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/...Case.2284.html This is the closest to being a true X20 case, however it is a Clix2 case. As shown here: http://www.misticriver.net/attachmen...9&d=1174686819 What's worse is the page lists the case as BLACK when it's clearly brown, lol. I've been periodically checking the Japanese iRiver page for official cases and I have yet to see any. They recently had a free case they were giving away, but it looked like a cheaper version of the first case linked in this post - a generic holder. I want a case like the H120 series. You leave it inside and you can still operate it completely. Not a holder to place it in when you're done with it, and not a case made for another player. The clix2 one might work for the X20, except that the X20 is wider (or longer depending on how you look at it) than the Clix2 and I doubt it will fit in that case -- but you never know unless you buy it and try. =( |
