x20's Screen Size

This may sound really dumb but can anyone post up some comparison pictures between the x20 and U10? I ask because I currently own a U10(1 gig) and it's screen size is 2.2' and saw that the x20's screen size was 2.2' as well. In the review done over at pocketables.net I saw a comparison picture with the x20 and the zune and the x20's screen looks somewhat close to the zune's screen in the picture and just overall the screen on the x20 looks bigger than on the U10. Now, I look at my U10 and I can't imagine the U10's screen size being anything close to the zune's screen size. Is the x20s screen size really as small as the U10s or is there something i'm missing with this whole 2.2' screen size spec??? I'm looking to get an x20 hopefully but I don't think I want to end up with the same screen size as my U10. Any feedback would be appreciated. Hopefully pics can be posted as well!

It's 2.2.

I measured it and screen diagonal was 5,8 centimeters, don't know how much that's in inches.

To convert centimetres to inches divide by 2.54, amazing what useful stuff GCSE maths teaches you. In this case that giver you very nearly 2.3 inches. All the specs do say 2.2 though

I measured it and yeah it's ~2.2 inches.

A nice little random fact.. Subtitles are very easy to read on it.

Note. The iriver X20's/U10's screen (2.2in) is only .3 of an inch smaller than an iPod video's (2.5).
Dim of Clix:
2.7 x 1.8
Dim of iPod:
4.1 x 2.4
Dim of X20:
Unsure

It's just a figment of your imagination. An optical illusion.

Because the U10/Clix is smaller than the X20 and the entire front of it is taken up by the screen, it's easy to forget how large the screen is and judge it by the size of the player as a whole. Because the X20 is that bit larger, your mind then makes it seem as though the screen is that bit larger too.
So, given the X20 is closer to the Zune in size (not screen size, overall dimensions) it looks, at a glance, as though the screen is closer in size to that of the Zune as well. In reality, we know this is not the case.

It's like that trick when you draw identical parallel lines. If you put arrow-heads pointing inwards on one and outwards on the other, they seem to be different lengths.

Ya that's what i was exactly thinking too but hoping that I was somehow wrong. Anyways, I am still planning on getting this little jewel, but only until the funds are there to spend. I really hope it comes to the US so I can play with it before purchasing it.

There's no point hoping - it's an alternative to the Clix2 for the Pacific Rim/Far East region (Japan, Australia, etc).

The only way you'll be able to get it is through the iRiver Store (link at top of page).

Hmm, by any chance do you have any legitimate source I can see this myself?

No, I don't. It's what I've gleaned from here.
You don't want to believe me, whatever, I don't care.

But the chances of a bricks & mortar store in the US carrying even the Clix2, let alone the X20 are next to none.

And, IIRC, iRiver is out of the bricks-n-mortar business in the US.
