vista
just got a new laptop with vista. is it compatable with my T30?
when i connected a window came up and i chose to 'view files' (like i did on xp). then another window comes up with system fat 16 on it when i click that the macine is 'busy' but nothing happens. thanks |

well - thanks for the help ...
i have since discovered that i have to download the latest firmware. for MTP ONLY iriver - MTP Updater for the iriver clix / U10 / T10 / T30 / H10 this is the updater and step by step instructions. this must be done in windows xp with wmp10. then it works perfectly on vista with wmp11. when i connected the player i clicked on 'show files' and there was my i river. i clicked on it and the folders were displayed. 'voice, record,and audible' (i think). so on the desktop i created a folder called music and cut and paste it in with the others. now i can just drag and drop into it. so if you don't need/want to synch this is really easy.
