Unhappy T10 Not playing music files in order

My T10 512mb Has stopped playing songs in order.

This is really annoying, especially when its a continuous dance album and jumps all over the place.

I'm using the drag and drop folder method from my music folder on my pc. The tracks are in order in my music folder AND when i look at the files on the T10 when the player is connected via usb.

Im using firmware version 1.71p. Although i just updated that from 1.03 (i think) and it was still doing it then...

Any help would be greatly appriciated....

It depends on the order in which they are uploaded. To change the playing order, you can use iriverplus3

Is there any reason why it wouldn't upload by track order? Or a is there a way to make sure it does? I'm checking out iriverplus3 now.

Just seems weird why it only just started doing this...

Make and use playlists. I don't use the MTP version (have a T10 too) and that's why.
With iriverplus3 you can rearrange songs also (without making playlists).
I've just used MTP version for one day, so I don't know all it's details.

Do you have the player in the shuffle mode? Try listening to audiobook with the shuffle on!

Did you check in the advanced set up feature to make sure the player is set to "A" ? Could you have accidentally hit the red button on top of the player? When I was having the same problem you are, it was definitely the result of not having those to things set up correctly.

A comment. The shuffled playing happened to me this morning. Apparently, I just had too many files on the player and it messed up the order of the playlist. Once I deleted many files, everything played inorder.
