At our house, we love the T10 players. Mine is a 2GB; my husband inherited my old 1GB when I upgraded. For our purposes, they're just about as perfect as they can be.
My non-tech-savvy mom, who is going to be doing some traveling, recently asked me to find her a good, simple player for under $100. Of course, my first thought was to get her a T10. That's when I discovered that they're being replaced with new models and are quite hard to find now. Arrgh! The solution we've come up with is to give Mom our 1GB T10 (still in great condition) and buy ourselves a 4 GB T60. This is kind of hard for me to do because, loving the T10s as much as I do, I'm reluctant to give one up! But the thought of having 4 GB to play with is appealing. So, I'm calling on any T10 fans who have bought T60s. What do you think? Are they just as good? Will I be pleased with the sound quality? What about the joystick, which some reviewers have called "wobbly"? Will it be as durable as the button wheel on the T10? Thanks in advance for the input. |

I cant comment on the T10, but having had my T60 for a few days now i dont see any problems with it. Very easy to use, sound quality is actually very good and its natively UMS.
Why dont you buy one and if you dont like it give it to your mom, but if you do like it give her your T10. |
