T10 2GB So sad
I love my T10 2GB iRiver zzso much that I bought a second one. I did this in case the T10 was "retired" The second player is put away; I plan to use it when I either lose or break the first one. My friend wanted to by one and we cannot find the T10 2GB anywhere. Are the T50 and T60 replacing the T10. If so . . . so sad!

Yep.
T50 replaces T10, but T50 only goes up to 1GB. T60 replaces T30 and now goes up to 4GB instead of 2GB T10, T20, and T30 are discontinued but still supported by iriver. There are a few T10 players out there, but most are very expensive now because brand new ones are difficult to find, especially the 2GB. T30 players lasted a little longer but now they are also hard to find, and similarly overpriced in most cases. |

If you don't mind paying $189.00 plus shipping you can get it here:

There are places selling it for less than $189, as in this Google product search for new T10 2GB. Still way more than I paid for mine though.
When first released they were, in my opinion, overpriced. So I stuck with my 1GB for a while, deciding to skip the 2GB. But then there was a small window of time between October 2006 through November 2006 when there were some very good deals to be found on brand-new 2GB T10. That's when I got mine. Shortly after the prices went sky-high. It's possible they only made a limited number of the 2GB units because they didn't seem to be on the market nearly as long as the 1GB or 512MB. |

Hi,
I got mine here. $130, the guy is serious (I bought from europe), and my brand new T10 works great. One of the last chance to get one I think... Be quick.

Hey xnr, congrats on finally getting the 2GB T10!
I remember from your previous posts here that you had your eye on it for quite a while. Hope you're enjoying it, it's a terrific player. |

Hello,
Could I just ask a related question please? What is the approximate shelf life of iriver products? By that I mean how long does a product remain available at retail after being released? And by available at retail, I mean if a retailer does not have one in stock, they can get it in from iriver. The reason I ask is that I am like the original poster, but in my case I am really impressed with the T60. I'd like to get a second one as well, and wonder how long I could likely afford to wait (read: save up) before they disappear Thanks |
