NEW T10 ...why only some of the mp3 are beying transfered ?

bought today my T10 1GB ...pluged it in ...install that IRIVER program disk ...updated that program ...it automatecly did firmware and program update to firmware 1.77
the problem IS :

i transfer mp3's from my HD to the t10 drive (via explorer ...("my computer ...T10 drive ....) i drug and drop ....

the problem is that it isn't transfering all !!!!!
for ex :
i transfer library with 20 songs and it's transfering only 6 mp3 !
i try to transfer 10 mp3's from a diffrent directory and it transfering only 4 mp3 ...(IT;S NOT SPACE PROBLEM !!.... 850MB LEFT)

the wierd this is that in my computer ...in the explorer ("my computer") i see the songs i transferd but when i DISCONNECT the USB and turn ON my t10 i see only few of the mp3 ....
what is going on !!! errr !!!....
i need a fast answer plz cos i'm going to a vecation for 1 month and i need my songs with me !!!! that's why i bought the t10 today !

plz help !

I don't have a T10 but my first guess is do you have to rebuild the library so that it properly detects the music that has been added? Have a good holiday

i didn't understand what u mean ...(sorry english isn't my home language)

u mean to change the DIR name ? already did it ....
i even just drug some mp3 to the ROOT dir ....
it shows in the (my computer....H:iriver ...) but in the T10 itself when i unplug the usb and turn it on it shows nothing like i didn't transfer anything !! ....
BUT !!! if i delete it IS showing that the files r gone ...
the problem is transfering to the T10 not deleting

what do u think is the problem ?
maby i'll format ?

Perhaps you need to unmount the iRiver before you disconnect it? I'm unfamiliar with Windows, but perhaps right-click on the icon and select unmount (or a similar option?). Otherwise the files and directory might still be cached on the host and not fully transfered to the player.

If it shows as H:/ then it is UMS. OrthoB's right, you need to use "Safely Remove Hardware". It's a little green icon in the Windows system tray (system tray is on the right, next to the clock). Click on it, a window pops up to ask if you want to stop the device. Click on the correct one in the list, then click OK to stop. A message box pops up that says it's now safe to remove.

It should be OK even if you do not click that icon, as long as the T10 stops saying "Transferring Data" .....and goes back to saying "USB connect". But you must be disconnecting before the transfer is complete. Wait until it's complete (T10 says "USB Connect"), then use "Safely Remove Hardware".

the problem was the mp3's !!!....
i guess the T10 only wants PURE 100% quality for it's songs ....
that's why the "IRIVER PLUS 3" program filtered like 50% of my mp3 and i didn't understand why it's not showing ALL my mp3 in the program ....
so i RE-download all the filtered mp3 again in EMULE and make sure that the file i'm d/l is 100% complete ....and it WORKED !!!!
damn T10 ...wants only QUALITY to get in i guess !....
took me 3 hours (to d/l again 50% pf my mp3 ...aGAIN !...) buy hey....it worked !

btw ..2 more questions ....

1 ) the T10 headphone isn't SENHEIZER MX400 right ? so what is it ? is it good though ?

2 ) how do i manage the songs in the order i want !? i got like 200 songs and directories as well ...problem is that i want the dirs to be TOP ...not in the middle of the other 200 songs !!....how do i do that ?
in my old iriver and i river program ...i could just drug a song up or down and deside the orther where i want it ....how do i do that in the T10 and T10 program ? ("iriver plus 3") ?
