T10N and T10 BLUES firmware. What is blues mean.
I have T10N/AU-HK 2GB UMS model. And wish to find correct firmware on http://nyaochi.sakura.ne.jp/iriverupdate/

On the iriver firmware update site there is this reference .inf file. But if use search on the page by word "T10N" only one record is found. (two in same place). And this record is under "T10 BLUES MSC" section. What it's mean? And all FWs under this section are named like this "MP3 T10_xxx_UM_OK". What is mean MP3 at all.

I know many peoples who use model like mine. And no one use *BLUES* FW, imo. I think i just can use FW like "T10_xxx_UM_OK", is not?

why don't you use the iriver plus to do the firmware update?

I agree. I had to install plus 3 to download the new 1.77 firmware for my T10 2 GB. Otherwise I never use iriver plus for ripping, because its (in my opinion) stupid, its not good for folder management and each time I used this program I got totally confused. Then I came across Fair Stars CD Ripper, which is amazing. Strongly recommended.

I have no problem to update my firmware and have the latest one now. Just interesting what is signature "BLUES" mean and why T10N exists only inside "T10 BLUES MSC" section of this INF file http://www.iriverplus.com/tools//hea...e_firmware.inf.

I just need single FW file for my model in order to change User Interface (modify images in firmware files) by this tool http://www.cerebus.de/iriver/download.html

What i can do with Iriver Plus software i know. Thank u for replies )
