This device’s internal clock is not set correctly
A serious case of WTF, mang.
I have an iriver T30MX 512 MB player. I am trying to sync some PlaysForSure subscription tracks to my t30. I have a h10 and can sync the subscription files without a problem. (This means I'm individualized A-OK!) I upgraded the firmware to 1.71 and used the recovery feature to format the device. I am unsure if this problem existed before the firmware upgrade/format this morning. When I try to sync the files to the T30 through Windows Media Player 11.0.5721.5145 , I receive an error. “It is not possible to sync because this device’s internal clock is not set correctly. To set the clock, select the option to set the device clock on the Privacy tab of the Options dialog box, connect to the Internet, and then sync the device again. For additional assistance..” I opened my Privacy settings and saw that the box was checked already. I tried to sync the device and received the same error. I then opened up the Privacy settings again and unchecked the box. I closed out of WMP. When I opened WMP again I was prompted if I wanted to set the device’s clock. I clicked Yes. It did not display any other confirmation/error messages at that point. When I tried to sync, I received the same error. I am connected to the internet. When I checked my clock on the t30 it was set incorrectly. I tried to manually change it to the correct time but it did not work. I still receive the same error when I try to sync. It should be noted that I can transfer the same playsforsure subscription tracks fine to a second player that I own, an iriver h10, from the same computer. I can transfer playsforsure standard download tracks to my tx30, but not playsforsure subscription tracks. Has anyone seen this error before? |
