Thumbs up iriver T50 1GB Now Available

The iriver Store just took delivery of the new iriver T50 1GB player. A simple, music only player along the same design lines as the much liked iFP-100 series. If you're looking for a simple, no nonsense player, this is it.

Just out of curiousity do you expect to be stocking the T60? Also have you heard anything about release dates for the larger capacity T50/T60?

Availibility T50/T60

Hey there,

have you already taken a look at amp3.co.uk ? I ordered the T60 2GB player this week and it already is in my hands . They also have the T60 model with 4 GB in stock, and it just takes few days until delivery. I would not buy the T50 due to the lower output power (15mW, T60 has 18 mw).

This is good news. I'm currently waiting for the T60 to come in stock at www.cdon.com.

Skorpion, could you possibly post some pictures of the T60 in action?

as you can see, it´s very very very (...) small. They continued using the firmware I already "experienced" on the T30 model. One thing that annoyed me was the fact that using any equalizer setting BUT "normal" lead to a not very loud sound. Well, what to say... I love loud music
So I used the gain program for modifying the volume in a mp3 file (105 dB instead of 90 ). voilá NOW it´s even louder than the IFP-795 with korean firmware (without the european volume limitation).
Additionally you have to upload the korean firmware as they don´t have any volume limitations.
The first day I encountered a weird behaviour with the battery indicator. Until I found out that the AAA rechargable batteries I own are some that really suck and lose energy even without being used...
The T60 minimum runtime is 10 hours. Approx. the same runtime as the H-10 6GB. I never believe the laboratory runtime values nor am I the kind of guy who lets the player run without touching any button while the music is playing

good nite.
