.ogg files wrong length shown

Just been combining some tracks into longer .ogg files (since the t10 appears to have a 900 file limit) and several of them won't play right - the file length (on the T10) shows as '43 seconds' or whatever (should be around 50 minutes or more) hence only 43 seconds plays.

Looking at the files with mediamonkey, or dbpoweramp, or whatever, the files are indeed 32Mb long, with a duration of 50+ minutes. This is .ogg q=0 (~64 kb/sec) using firware 1.76.

Is it just me, or is there some nasty bug? I tried a couple of different .ogg encoders, no difference.

On the other hand, some (over an hour in total) work just fine, so it isn't anythign obvious. 8<,

I believe that q0 is not supported by the T series, or any other iriver that I'm aware of. I've heard of people using them without trouble, but never with such a large duration--perhaps it only supports them at short lengths?

Well, my t10 seems to support q=0 OK, even at file length of 2+ hours, it just gets confused by these few files converted by foobar2k.

I've since gone the long way round (foobar2k to get the files to a gigantic .wav, and then encode that separately with dbpoweramp) and the files =all= work right (still q=0), so maybe it is something whacky that foobar2k is doing with some of the tags during the direct conversion to .ogg (using command line .ogg encoder).
