iriver T10 keeps turning on/off (or constantly rebooting)

A month after the warranty expired my iriver t10 1GB just keeps seemingly going on and off:

1) It displays the "iriver T10 MTP" splash screen
2) Says "SCAN MUSIC FILE..."
3) Displays the time
4) Seems to turn off

Goes through the cycle again. Anyone know what's going on? Thanks!

This is a common problem with the T10. Have you tried cleaning the battery contact?

See here:
t10 won't turn on after leave untouch for few hours
