[T30]What is "settings->display->name" for? Where can I get 1.6 UMS FW?

1.What is "settings -> display -> name" for? When I change it it appears when I pause the player so there is no sense of this option or I'm wrong?

2.Where can I find firmware 1.60 UMS(for Europe, or somewhere else just in english) ? If someone can send it to me - { blagoyborisoff AT gmail DOT com }. Can someone explain the best way for downgrading my current firmware - 1.71P UMS.

PS: I'm not sure if 1.60 sounds better than 1.71 but I'm having some problems with the sound ( Strange hissing noise from my t30. From what? ) that is why I'm trying to change the firmware.

The name you set shows up on startup in the place of the "x files" note you usually get. It's not at all useful, just a bit of customization if you want it.

You should be able to find the firmware you're after here:

Just place the .hex file in the root directory of your player (that is, the main section, before you open any folders) and then disconnect your player.

I can't open http://nyaochi.sakura.ne.jp/iriverupdate/ probably it is caused by my ISP (which BTW sucks). Can someone find 1.60P there or if there is a mirror let me know.

edit: I've just accessed the site but I didn't find the FW version that I need. Does anyone have it? Please send it to me.
