Could you answer me some questions about t30?

First I'm sorry for my bad english. I've recently bought iriver t30 and I'm very happy :P It's almost perfect for my needs but I have some questions about it:

1. Can I make something with the t30 to show the track that is paused insteаd of showing total tracks count?

2. I've heard something about the "m" button and that I can change its behaviour on single click(now on single click it starts A-B function), is that true?

3. Can I make that when hold function is switched on not to lock all keys but only some of them(not to lock for example keys for next/previous track or volume controls)?

When I pause my T30 while playing a track, I see the file name, not the total track count.

Which firmware do you use? Where did you buy it from?

1.71p--bought as a refurbished model via Amazon.

My player uses the same version 1.71P and it is UMS. It's strange. Tell me what is written in settings->display->name? When I change what is written there it appears when i pause the player and now I wrote "Paused" to look better than "TotalXXXX".

Could some of the gurus try to explain what is the function of settings->display->name when there aren't any special words to use in it(like %name% and it gives the name of the song, %number% and it gives the number of song etc.)?

Mine is MTP, not UMS--perhaps that's the difference?
My settings->display->name is blank. Also (for what it's worth) my settings/display/tag info. is set to "off."
