WARNING - plus2 - device initialization shortens device's life
I have just read on the plus2 manual that the "optionn>portabl e device initialization" option shortens the player's life!!
Does anyone knows why this is?? Last edited by elreservado : October 9th, 2006 at 10:54 AM. |

You've really read it?
I don't believe this ... sheesh. Initialization is a usual procedure, I don't think it can shorten the player's life. |

Perhaps they are referring to the limited life expectancy of flash memory, which is usually estimated at around 100,000 read/write cycles.
