Instaling US firmware on EU T10 PURE?
I was wondering if such thing is possible since MTP/UMS conversion is alowed. I have tried it on my T10 pure converted to UMS. I used manual mode on Iriverupdater to load .zip update provided by Itanium (T10 PURE_ENG_UM_NO [for US]) at this thread:
For everybody who used the hybrid fws at mtp-ums.net . It was no success. I got the "please select valid firmware file" message.

I just want my t10 louder. Stupid europian laws! First the radio and now this!

Any ideas?

Solved! Just dragging and dropping .hex file from the .zip update to the player started upgrading process automatically!! My T10 pure EU is now officially US (loud)!!
Which probably means that any firmware updates on UMS flash players can be performed in the same way - iriver plus free!

Thank you guys for nothing! (kidding offcourse. learnd many things here)
