T10 updater for FW v1.70 stalls at 50%
Help my mom out! I'm trying to get her T10 1 gigger to work on my laptop, since all of our desktop's 8 USB ports are mysteriously down for the count after plugging the T10 in there at Christmastime. I want to upgrade to FW 1.70 from the FW 1.04 that's on her player right now, so I can use it with WMP11. When I go into the firmware updater, it identifies the plugged-in T10 and prompty begins the required downloading. But it stalls at 50% completed. When I unplug the thing, it asks me if I want to go ahead and update the firmware, when it's not even completely on the device. WTF? It's giving everyone a tough time, and it's frustrating! Is it a voodoo doll wrapped in flash memory?

Disregard the previous post! The firmware never stopped downloading onto the player; the status bar in the program's window has a bug in which it stalls at 50%. The player is quick to sync to and browse from in WMP11.
