The 'reset' for a T10 is to merely remove the battery, wait about 10 seconds and then putting the battery back in....turn it on.

Another tip. If you ever find your T10 to come on, then turn off, and keep repeating this cycle,... take the battery out, connect the USB cable from your running computer, and then place the battery back in. The USB/DOCK cycle will capture the firmware, and allow you to then remove any offending tracks, or to merely format it so as to start over.

This is the sure-fire way to recover from the death-initialization loop.

Since you are a new T10 user, I also might add, it is ALWAYS best to use a FRESH battery ANYTIME you are upgrading your firmware, or sync'ing to your T10. After you have sync'ed etc, you can then remove the fresh battery and pop in the partial battery to use down to the nubs in playback mode. When you have used your SYNC'ing battery to half the battery life reading, you then change to a fresh one for that purpose. The half used one then becomes a playback battery. So forth, on and on....

Following this suggestion will keep you clear of any USB input/output problems, or worse....making the T10 into a brick.
