T20 questions
I'm planning on getting the T20, just want to know a few things first:
- I run linux and a Mac and also have windows PC, I heard you can drag music straight on the player without any software? Is that true? - Does it support foreign language such as Korean in the audio file names or tags? - Where do I get the latest firmware for this player. Thanks. |

1) you may need to use the MTP->UMS conversion tool on iRiver's website but yes
2) AFAIK, yes 3) iRiver Plus http://www.iriver.com/html/support/f...pSearchString= |

Forgot my old u/p, anyway brought the T20, updated firmware and now it can be used on linux and winodw...
For the language, if the menu system language is set to english korean and japanese characters show correctly for file name but don't show correct in the ID2/3 tags if anyone wanted to know. Great player overall. |

have you tried ID3v2 with UTF-8 or UTF-16 encoding? or ID3v1 with local/korean/japanese codepage?
