Unable to connect T20 as UMS
Hi,
I recently purchased a T20 1gb player, but am now unable to connect it as a UMS device. I converted it from MTP to UMS using the official firmware upgrader, as I use it under Linux mostly, and it worked fine initially but I tried to copy some more music files to the player yesterday and it now is not recognised. When the player is connected it doesn't show as "usb connected" and is not recognised as a UMS device at all, either under Linux or Windows XP and I've tried it on 2 different PCs as well. All it does is charge until the timeout switches the player off... and that's it. Basically it's useless, unless you guys have any suggestions (before I send it back for a refund)? Thanks, Phil. |
