Installed WMP11 and now when I plug my USB cable into T10 nothing pops up and I see nothing in Windows Explorer. Any ideas? Something got messed up in windows I guess... My T10 is MTP

Dumb Questions:
Are the T10 and comp both turned on?
Is the USB cable plugged into both the T10 and comp?
(i have seen problems due to these on the H10 forum)

Not So dumb questions:
How fresh is the battery? (Newer batteries work better)
Did the T10 ever work with WMP11?

I expereinced a similar problem with my T10 in MTP mode with WMP11 even after upgrading to firmware 1.70 on another computer. My T10 was seen by device manager, but neither "My Computer" nor WMP11 saw the device.

I finally solved the problem by going into device manager and removing it, then looking for new hardware and told the wizard to look in the WMP11 directory. It then found the driver, installled it and everybody now sees the device when plugged in. Letting the wizard hunt for the driver on its own deosn't find it.

It is specific to WMP11 since with WMP10 on another computer, it was seen without problems.

Yes

But I uninstalled and went back to 10 because Yahoo Music engine wouldn't transfer to the T10 anymore. But they didn't help either.

I believe it was listed under "other devices" with a big yellow question mark and was labelled "T10iriver."
