Amplification of T30, armband and sports headphone recommendation?

Is this unit as loud as I hope it is (and is the custom EQ as good as I think)?
At 18 mw per channel, it has to be quite a bit louder than the Creative Zen Muvo and Nano Plus, which (according to their specs) are 5 mw per channel.
Is it louder than the old "top of the line" Sony Walkmans"? Seriously, I like my music loud along with nice highs. I would even add a small pen sized pre-amp if they had that accessory! I generally use the Sony MDR-A35G S2 headphones, as I like the high end, plus I can't get used to earbuds or anything without the headband.

I just noticed that the power rating is 24 hours per AAA battery with 128 kpbs and a volume level of 20. Is that 20 out of 100? I hope it's more like 20 out of 40! My files are usually more in the 192 kbps range. I hope I get more than 5 hours per battery!

Is there a good armband for running and jogging (other than the one on the IRiver site)?

As the label on John Lennon's "Instant Karma" read:

I own a T10 and it sounds really loud. I recomendo to use ogg vorbis @ q1 or q2 instead of mp3@192, you will get better sound, more space for the same battery
