Question T30 will not turn on?

My daughter gave me her T30 a couple of weeks ago and it had been running great until today. It has a new battery. Is there a reset located anywhere on this device? I was able to check files and music on it earlier and I can't figure out what the problem is?

Have you tried removing and re-inserting the battery? I sometimes have the same problem, but removing the battery shortly solves the issue for me.

I have put in a couple of new batteries and no response. The hold switch is off. I discovered the problem after I disconnected it from the usb port. Could this have shorted the player?
